The blue iguana is an Endangered species endemic to Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. With support from the Preventing Extinction Fund, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is acquiring 3.6 hectares of undisturbed dry forest and woodland and dry shrubland habitat to extend the Salina Reserve Important Bird & Biodiversity Area (IBA).
